Production Records

Load ins, mortalities, sales, health and treatments.

Open Production Records

On the group page, tap Production Records.

The records screen

  1. Totals for the group: pigs in, sold, mortalities, and the population now.
  2. Buttons to add a record.
  3. Filter the records list.
  4. Every record, newest first. Tap one to see or change it.

Who can do what

Add a record

Every record works the same way: tap its button, fill in the form, tap Save.

  1. When: today, yesterday, or pick a date.
  2. How Many: type a number or use − and +.
  3. Death or Euthanasia.
  4. Cause.
  5. Estimated Weight, Each, in kg.
  6. Save. The button shows how many you are saving.

The other buttons ask for:

ButtonWhat it asks for
Load InDate, pigs in, weight, health on arrival, and where they came from.
SalesMarket, pre-market or sub-standard; date, pigs sold, weight, and who bought them.
HealthThe status of PRRS, PED, PDCoV, Mycoplasma, Influenza and E. coli. Tap Add Health Update to change it.
TreatmentMedication or vaccine, the product, whole group or targeted, and how it was given.

Edit a record

Tap the record in the list.

  1. Edit: change the record and save it again.
  2. What Changed: who entered or changed it, and when.

A changed record shows Edited in the list. Removing a record needs a Service Manager.

Start a new group

Tap Settings, then New Group.

  1. Choose the Barn.
  2. Type a Group Name.
  3. Choose the Rooms the group occupies.
  4. Choose the Temperature Curve.
  5. Choose the Feed Curve.
  6. Tap Create Group.

The group shows on Group Triage straight away. Alerts and warning indicators stay off until the first Load In is recorded.

To edit a group, or to change Feed or Temperature Curves once the group has been started, tap Group Details on the records screen, or in the Settings menu.

Changing the Feed Curve re-works the group's estimated weight from its start.

Close a group

Close This Group is at the bottom of the Group Details screen.

Set the date and tap Close Group. It shows the pigs still on hand by the records. Once a group is closed, warning indicators and alerts are turned off for the group.

Adjust the count

Tap Adjust Count on the records screen.

Choose more or fewer, how many, and why. The screen shows the population after the change.

Where your records come from

Each barn keeps its records in one of three ways. The records screen tells you which.

BarnHow records work
Entered in SwineWiseYou enter every record here.
HybridNew groups and records come from MetaFarms. You can enter records into SwineWise and the platform reconciles these against MetaFarms records once the MetaFarms records are received.
MetaFarmsRecords come from MetaFarms and update daily. A Service Manager can still set rooms and curves in Group Details.
